OnlineStranger is built on the principle of minimal data collection. We only collect what's absolutely necessary to provide the service.

We DO collect:

  • Anonymous session IDs (temporary, deleted after chat ends)
  • Basic analytics (page views, chat duration - no personal data)
  • IP addresses (for security and abuse prevention only)

We DO NOT collect:

  • Names, emails, or any identifying information
  • Chat message content (messages are not stored)
  • Location data beyond country-level
  • Device fingerprints or tracking cookies

How We Use Your Data

The minimal data we collect is used exclusively to provide and improve the service, prevent abuse, and ensure platform security. We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage & Retention

Chat messages are transmitted in real-time and are never stored on our servers. Once you disconnect, the conversation is permanently deleted. Session data is retained for 24 hours for security purposes, then automatically deleted.

Your Rights
